Well, I think, because you put up a tribute to those who have died. Why not something simple ...
No names, if they were married
Then type something like "Married for __ year and every day a new adventure ..."
Or something cute like that.
Do your grandparents have a wedding song? Maybe you could use the letter on your wedding song with his picture ...

This is a nice gesture! I will simply supply the name, date of marriage and a nice (short).

In one of these fine old pictures, you should following the motto "What are your friends and family, which is not to be in the body that remembers making his mood."
It is a very attractive idea. I would look for me a lot of money, antique pictures and it on the table where the cake. :)
